Best course of action for I9

I am hopeful to get a new job offer in a week or so. After giving my employer a two-week notice, I am hopeful to start the new job in 3-4 weeks. But around the same time, my I551 stamp will expire. I am really anxious about the job transition due to the I9 process.

 

Currently I do not have an unrestricted SSN card, a driver's license, or a state ID. I only have a conditional green card with incorrect expiration date, according to which it has expired. I filed I90 1.5 years ago, and it is still pending. I have an I551 stamp on my passport, which will expire in 3-4 weeks.

 

What should I do?

 

Can I ask my next employer to verify my immigration status before starting the new job (before the I551 stamp expires)?

Can I request an InfoPass now for a new stamp for I9 purpose? Will they let me given that the current step has not expired?

Can I ask my next employer to use my I90 receipt as proof for I9 purpose?
