Not the best reply, but it is a start! Even getting a few a week done helps lessen the back log once they "return to normal". Still trying to keep my head up and stay positive!

True, True anything to help ease the time line once they start processing the the rest which do not fit the above mentioned criteria (Unless they are also processing newly submitted K-1's in said category). Though ALL K-1 Visas should be given the same priority as Spouse visas regardless of circumstance, disability,  what the petitioner has going on in life, etc....

Absolutely! They should treat this very similar to a spouse visa. its really silly they have not opened up many k1 interviews, especially since PH is the largest k1 visa country. I see lots of people doing online marriages or getting married skipping fiance straight to marriage.  It is a step in the right direction but i agree it should be opening up at this point. there is no reason k1 should be shut down. USA is letting celebs and athletes get visas because they "bring money" but completely neglect the american citizen putting all this time and effort to prove their relationships, and spend thousands of dollars on a visa. so sad :'(
