I was checking out in WallyWorld this morning and they both require masks and 6 ft separation

Now admittedly I live in the boonies so only come across the mask issue once or twice a week but that seems common?

I don’t know what wallyworld is, but when you’re not in the boonies ;) , there are many situations where 6’ separation at all times simply isn’t feasible, and it is masks required if you cannot maintain 6’ separation. Of course, many people do both (especially if you are not outdoors), as well as wash hands frequently etc, out of an abundance of caution (that well-used phrase).

I was in Walmart in Frisco near Breckenridge. At the checkout they had roundels on the floor denoting where you need to stand.

And the rest of the store? Anyway this thread is about flights where 6 foot is just not happening.

OK a friend of mine flew to LA and back from Denver and they had the separation and mask requirements at both ends, on the jet way 6ft apart and then you get on the plane and somehow no longer applies.

And obviously 6’ apart is very difficult in the waiting area. So yes they do it where they can but for an airport, that’s really not very much of it. Airports and responsible airlines require masks at all times and enforce it. Some airlines are lax (no pun intended) on mask enforcement. Some airports (like Newark) only allow ticketed passengers inside the terminal building and have no amenities open (just check in/bag drop) before security, others don’t have such restrictions. Flying is not ideal right now and nothing is going to keep you properly socially distanced at all times when doing so (even private jets are no assurance as shown by recent events), so the best you can do is protect yourself and research your airlines.
