So I went to the US Embassy and did my Oath taking. Literally, just oath taking and it was finished, it didn't even last 10mins. I did it on my 1st appointment, I guess they somehow forgot that I did my oath. Now, for the waiting game.

Did you bring the same documents you had during your first appointment? Please let me know once your visa is issued. They scheduled my reOath next week.

They didn't forget.  They wanted you to renew your oath that every statement in your application documents is still true.

I brought all my documents like the 1st interview. They did not require any documents though (I just brought all the documents just to be sure), they just took my passport.

Also bring with you your DS160 or whatever DS that is, that's what you need to get in, together with your passport and the schedule they emailed you.

How about your visa? Is it already issued same day?

The consular officer told me that it would take 2-4 weeks, and I've also read that it might take 7-10 business days from the interview date, so I'm just waiting for it, hopefully soon.

May I know what's your visa category? Mine was E2 so I was banned because of the proclamation however there is news that it was lifted already. Not sure when they will start processing again so I am still waiting until now.

Same situation. I had my interview Feb 2021 and after 7 business days, I received a letter from US Embassy stating that I need to schedule an appointment for another Oath-taking. So I called the "Call us" button on USTraveldocs website, I used a computer and after so many attempts I was able to speak to an agent.

They created a case for me and requested an appointment for Oath-taking. I received an email right away containing details on the said request and that they will respond accordingly within 1 to 2 business days. I'm just waiting for a response from them, hopefully soon. I'll try to post if I receive info from them too, for reference, might help. I'll also check this thread because it might help my situation.

Hello,

just want to ask. Did you schedule the oath taking with the representative over the phone? Also have you completed the medical prior to scheduling this appointment?

Just also seeking for help. Thank you

Hello. How can i schedule for an oath-taking in Us Embassy Manila? Thank you

If you're under Immigrant visa, the US Embassy Manila will be the one to schedule your oath-taking. In my case, I was not able to do the oath-taking because of Presidential Proclamation 10014. When the ban was lifted, my medical was already expired and they sent me another 221g letter but this time they did not require me to do oath-taking anymore just new medical report and send my passport to the embassy.
