So my wife got DQ for the Skopje Embassy. Does anyone know how long will it take for us to get the medical and the interview scheduled?  Is there a certain time frame that the NVC usually takes to schedule with an embassy?  What is the average for other embassies to get something scheduled?

Thanks

It used to be a few days up to 3 months.  Now, it can vary due to the Covid backlog at NVC.  Once a consulate informs NVC of available interview dates, they (NVC) will schedule interviews starting at the front of the queue for that consulate.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Ahh gotcha. So if there would be a delay it would be the NVC and not the embassy?

Maybe both.
