What was said at the interview?  Did they request additional documents or another interview?

The petition will be returned to USCIS.  Best bet now is to fix whatever the issue was, get married, and apply for a CR-1.

The interview went well they kept her passport and requested a police report witch we send the same day. But about a month ago they called her and told her to sent the police report again but they never got it. I got emails saying that they received it but they didn’t

Emails from who?

And during that year, did you follow up with them at all?

So what happens when you remind the embassy/show them their own emails that they received the police reports?

We’ve been waiting on administrative processing for almost a year and all of the sudden I see this.

Our K-1 visa has been in administrative processing for almost 2 years and has not expired yet. But that’s because I am continuously in contact with the embassy as well as extending our intend to marry letter every 4 months. I send the embassy a intend to marry letter every 4 months. Were you in contact with them?

I’ve been emailing and calling them

And why isn't your lawyer earning the money you pay him/her by pursuing an answer for you?  A whole year has been wasted, and now you have to start all over again with either a new K-1 or marry and do a spousal petition.

I don't understand how a year could have passed without more proactive steps being taken.

So I’m wondering why it has expired... have you tried reaching out to them and asking them why it has expired?
every case is different so I shouldn’t really be comparing our cases so sorry.

I hope I don’t sound nosy. But I was curious what causes an administrative processing and how to avoid that? That is a very long time to wait! 😧
