Hi everyone, is there anyone here used to get married in the 3rd country? I live in Vietnam and it seems impossible for him to get married me in Vietnam now due to the covid. It may take another year to clean this mess out. We are thinking about getting married in the 3rd country but we don’t know which one is suitable for us. We can’t stay there for so long due to the expenses and our works. Feel free to drop your advice if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If you can't stay long due to expenses and work, then your choices are very limited.

Vietnamese have limited choices to travel visa free and require visitor visas are most countries.

Most countries are not open to US citizens because of our high Covid numbers.

In addition, some countries require Covid testing and/or quarantine.

If you leave Vietnam, you will have to quarantine for 14 days when you get back to Vietnam.

US citizens can not travel to most Asian countries.  The only countries that I know of that will take Americans are Cambodia and South Korea.  Both require 14 days of quarantine.  Visitor visas are required.

US citizens can travel freely to Mexico.  Perhaps you can try to get a tourist visa for Mexico.  Quarantine is not required.
