Bottom line is it doesn't matter who plays better but who scores. Brazil got their butts kicked yesterday. Shame, shame. :D

Colombia just got a dose of the same medicine that Brasil got yesterday. Pathetic, send Colombia back on bus thru FARC country.

Dude not funny!!!!

Look up Andrés Escobar... Futbol was the death of him...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Colombia was awful yesterday!!! OMG, they suck!!!! They scored NOTHING in the last 20 minutes of the second half and yet... Paraguay scored 3 more in those 20 minutes on top of the previous 2.

I'm with Lucho, they don't deserve to be in Copa América anymore. -_-

WHAT'S UP PEOPLEEE!!!

well, sorry I took so long to log back in, Justin arrived on friday and as you can imagine, I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with him while he's here. we had our engagement party on saturday, I'll be posting some pictures soon.

and yeah what a game that was against the U.S.!!! I was leaving work just as the States was winning 1-0 with that penalty, and I told everyone that if they won, I was going to make Justin sleep on the couch hehehe. The first half of the game was preety slow, but then the second half was AWESOME!!

Justin was on the plane during the game (Dallas-Buenos Aires), he said that when the game was over the captain got on the speaker and said "a lot of people are asking for the result of the game...let me tell you, Argentina showed their football superiority! 4-1!"

Yesterday we played against Colombia...and won 4-2!! I couldn't see that game because I was having drinks at an irish pub with Justin and his friend who also came to Buenos Aires to join us for the happy ocation.

Some people are upset that Riquelme, who scored 2 goals in the game, didn't show "passion for the game"...crazy!! let the guy play how he wants, seems to be working out!!

Argentina is on a roll, Justin is here...all is good in Caro-land.

Since we are in a good position on the tournament now, everyone is expecting the DT to let some of the backup players go in the field on the next match against Paraguay. I'm still waiting to see better things from Messi, so hopefully this game will be the one.

Saludos!!

Caro

Bummer that Mexico lost to Argentina. They played an excellent first half but then Hugo Sánchez made some stupid player changes and blew it. Argentina was flawless though, so they deserved to win.

Uruguay and Mexico face off on Saturday for 3rd place, my money is on Mexico.

Brazil and Argentina play Sunday... boooooooooooooooooooring! Same two teams every time. It's like the same stupid ending for every sappy movie out there. Anyway, Argentina will win this one too. Did I already say boooooooooooooooooring... zzz... zzz... zzz...

Congratulations to Brazil! You guys deserved to win, hands down

So, there's no shame in loosing against Brazil, they are the best by far, I'm not mad about that

I will tell you what I am mad about though...

1)AYALA YOU DUMB CHOPF##K WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?? making a goal against your own team?? there's no place in a final for those kind of mistakes!!!! :bonk:

2) Basile (DT), you were screaming at Messi since the beginning of the match..and you don't change a single player until 20 minutes into the 2nd half? when we are already loosing 3-0?? what difference is that going to make??? :ranting:

Congrats to Brazil again, you dominated the field
