My wife received her 797 January of 2019 extending her green card for 18 months.

She did her biometrics appointment well over a year ago, but we have not heard a peep from UCIS about anything.

What should my next steps be?

Given that its past the date, her drivers license is expired etc so it is a real problem.

thanks

Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 18, 2019, contact the USCIS

she had a biometrics appointment in 2019 within about the time frames indicated on the forum

Have you checked current processing times?  Some i751s are taking more than 1.5 years

YMMV

thanks, when I just ran the check on visa journey

It says 16.5 to 20.5 months, and we are right at 20 months so I am less worried, but I am concerned about the driving situation.

Without a valid document, the DMV will not issue an updated driver's license.

for the moment she does not really have to drive, but she should have a valid license.

20 months?  November 2019 is not even 12 months
