Hi guys.

Here's my timeline:

09/10/2020: AOS Application pack sent (I-485, etc.)

09/11/2020: USCIS confirms application received (I got nothing by mail but I found out by calling the number given by the Emma live chat. I spoke to a representative who mentioned they literally just put into the system that my visa packet has been received)

11/11/2020: Money orders cashed.

I'm still waiting for a mail with the receipt number but I now know it has been received. Hope this helps.

I just emailed the Chicago lockbox since it's been more than a month without any notification or cashing the check.

Hopefully it's not lost, they're just backed up a little.

Anyone else not get anything for more than a month?

My husband is telling me it will be fine but...looking at past cases and current cases gotten text receipt less than a month makes me worry.

We sent ours Oct 21, it was received and signed for Oct 22. Haven't received anything yet. We emailed lockbox as well.

What number did you get? I've been calling but it's hard to get a live person.

October 20 - package sent via Fedex

October 23 - package received

November 9 - Check cashed

November 12 - text message received

I received four different texts but only two different receipt numbers. When I added them to my USICS account it only shows me I-765 and I-131. Nothing for the I-485 yet.. anyone in a similar situation?

Hey. I just checked, it's the same USCIS customer service number  you get when you google it...1 (800) 375-5283. I also struggled to get to a live person but i tried a few times. I got through to a live person with a combination of me saying to the automated system that my "application has not been received and its been over 30 days", then the system asks for your case number.. then I say I don't have one, there's a bit of back and forth then it eventually transfers you to a live person. Basically a bit of trial and error. Hope this helps.

I got 2 emails saying we have taken an action on your case but I haven’t seen anything online

Whatever the action they took should be in your online  account, if not there now wait a bit. Do you have an app?
