I'm not sure about that, but just my opinion again I'd  file them all together since they are related to your case. Why give USCIS something else to misplace or lose. Someone will come along here with an answer a I'm sure.

I’ll give them until the last day of my visa and send another package if I get nothing in the meantime. And if it confuses them, I’ll deal with it, at least I’ll be in the system!

seeing they are processing cases received after mine, I’m getting very worried and impatient

Me too! I'm worried about it as well.

I had to recheck my fedex status to make sure they received it and checked all the versions of the forms.

Are the forms processed at local offices? because I think Sacramento office is quite busy, which then I can kind of understand the delay.

Hopefully I hear something until the weekend. 🤞

Guys Good afternoon,

asking for a friend:  what would be the actual price for K1 and K2 AOS packet.

my friend Got her packet rejected, she used the electronic form but filled G-1450 for her AOS $1225. And another one in the same package for her daughter. (I think it should be just one form for the whole amount) :( I am not sure.

and she got the EAD rejected for outdated form. 19961677-0DB5-48CC-AC6C-864BA1D7AF19.thumb.jpeg.93d1b26c4b56f1d358b3a7f5373ab6b8.jpeg

I don't know about the fee, but I just got rejected for outdated form, because they released a form not long ago and I had missed the change. Make sure she downloads the last version here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-485

Good luck!

I just emailed the Chicago lockbox since it's been more than a month without any notification or cashing the check.

Hopefully it's not lost, they're just backed up a little.

Anyone else not get anything for more than a month?

My husband is telling me it will be fine but...looking at past cases and current cases gotten text receipt less than a month makes me worry.

It depends on the age of the K-2. It is to your friend's advantage that they kick out the entire application if the EAD is on an outdated form, because as I recall there is a fee for filing that for separately that is waived if all the forms are all filed together.

Hey Sarah,

To give you a bit of hope and announce my great news, I’ve been asking on the chat with live agents (through Emma) every couple days and I finally got receipt numbers today!!!
My package was received on Oct 2nd and apparently, they sent the receipts on Nov 3rd. The charge appears on the credit card as of the 5th of November.

So give it a couple of days or ask them in the chat!
By the way, I never got a text or email.

I am beyond relieved, I thought they had lost my application...

The odd thing is according to the case status tool, the forms I765 and I130 were received and the receipt was created on October 5th (which seems odd as they received them on the 2nd) but the I485 on November 3rd.

Never received anything in the mail, do they send the notices all at once ?

Keep us posted about yours, fingers crossed!

Hello! Thanks for your update!

I still haven't received anything, no alerts and no check movement.

I have the name of the person who received our file at Chicago from fedex but that's it.

I don't have receipt number so even if I choose the chat service, it tells me to email the Chicago lockbox to see if they lost it or received it.

I have emailed them more than a week ago now I think but still nothing.

I don't know if this in normal processing time or is there any way I can contact USCIS regarding this matter?

It seems they are taking a long time right now so don’t worry too much!

I also emailed the lockbox on 10/26 and didn’t get an answer but the waiting time is 30 days...

What I did was connect on ask Emma and put live agent. Then click on case status and I don’t have a receipt number. It will offer connect to a live agent.

That’s how I got my receipt numbers (my husband had to do it again to get his receipt for the I130).

My package was received 10/02 and the receipt numbers created 11/03. The credit card charge appeared 11/05.

I haven’t received the hard copies yet but hopefully they’ll be in the mail sometime this week!

Thank you for such details!

I will definitely try the live agent thing! I'm not sure if they're working tomorrow but worth a try.

I hope they work faster!!! again thanks so much Nina!
