Im sorry my bad I called  them codes, but it's categories, look for category.

If you were admitted  as a K1 or K2 the category is (c) (9)

I used the word code it should have been category. Apologies......

I also couldn't find anything on I-485 instructions and nothing about it on the actual form? I hope I'm not missing anything but I'm still going to go over it again.

 

There is a section to fill (c)(9) on I-765(Part 2, 27) and you can find about about this code on the I-765 instructions.

Yes that's where it is my mistake again! I got the forms confused.

Hi guys!

I filed in September, but got my receipts in October, so figured I would juggle back and forth. Wanted to share my marriage AOS process so far:

 

9/14/20 — package sent with USPS

9/21/20 — package received/signed for

10/4/20 — personal checks taken out 

10/6/20 — received 4 texts application received with receipt # (i130/i485/i765/i131)

 

Physical receipts should be arriving by next week. Will provide an update when received.

9/14/20 — marriage AOS sent with USPS

9/21/20 — package received and signed for

10/4/20 — personal checks taken out

10/6/20 — received 4 texts application received with receipt # (i130/i485/i765/i131)

10/14/20 — received 4 NOA in mail

12/21/20 — received email notification for RFE for i-944

1/19/21 — called USCIS, biometrics scheduled + notice sent out on 1/15

1/23/21 — received biometrics letter in mail 

1/24/21 — sent i-944 RFE via UPS w/ signature confirmation

1/28/21 —  RFE received and USCIS continued to work on case

2/9/21 — biometrics taken 

2/19/21 — new card being produced (I-765).... case ready to be scheduled for interview (I-485)

2/22/21  AP+EAD changed to "case was approved".... I-485 changed to interview was scheduled

Yes, each iform should get its own g1145.

This is an AOS group not ROC. Try the ROC threads or go to the USCIS  website and find the fees there.

Hi guys! I shipped in September, hurrying to get it out of the door prior to the increase in price (didn't know it was on hold yet).

I sent my I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-944 all together + G-1145 for each folder and my check are from my checking account and not yet cashed.

 

09/29/2020 - Shipped with USPS

10/02/2020 - Received (USPS tracking)

 

Now waiting for confirmation. 

Under H1B valid until September 2022.

Marriage based AOS Timeline:

  1. 9/30/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using USPS
  2. 10/2/2020 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 10/26/2020 - Application rejected for outdated I-485 form
  4. 10/27/2020 - Application re-sent to USCIS lockbox using Fedex
  5. 11/19/2020 - Checks cashed (+ got my receipt numbers through online chat the following day)
  6. 11/29/2020 - Received 4 text messages from USCIS with the 4 receipt numbers.
  7. 12/03/2020 - Received 4 NOAs in the mail.
  8. 05/17/2021 - Biometrics appointment
  9. 05/20/2021 - "Case ready to be scheduled for an interview"
  10. 07/26/2021 - Case approved for my I-765 and I-131
  11. 09/01/2021 - Interview in San Antonio + "New Card Is Being Produced" status right away
  12. 09/02/2021 - "Case Is Approved"

Took us about two full weeks for our checks to be cashed, so you’re right about there :)  Of course it’s different for everyone. Hang in there!

Thank you! I'm going to be putting every from in a different envelope with its supporting documents. Did you put the I-994 with supporting documents in a separate envelope or with the I-485?
