We were in Hollywood on Sunday at Sam Ash, looking at pedals and picking up a cable for Al's practice amp. Didn't see anyone like that at all. Lots of people brunching on patios though.

Took this picture while we were walking back to the car, it's around the corner from Sam Ash on Martel.

You guys and your #fakenews... get outta here!!  CA is a utopia.  C'mon man!  They will never have to depend on fossil fuels to heat the state with all those wildfires that they enjoy.  And taxes?  Well, someone has to pay them, right?

I am on an unmoderated forum where someone created a new account with the moniker of Joe Biden, and he makes posts all the time, and man is he GOOD at using Biden's lines to make points!!  I'd post some here, but they would be lost on most people due to the topic, and many aren't very family friendly.  But funny???  Oh lawd...  I'll stop from time to time and read some to my wife, and she cracks up too.

Pretty happy here. Not for everyone, that's fine. :) I don't obsess over wherever it is other people live, so I always find it funny how much space California takes up in other people's heads.

Not gonna lie but that UHaul bill from NC CA was a killer. It was $2k with the largest truck they had to go from NC to CA, but when I went back it was over twice as much.

Well honestly CA is the one trying to impose their will on to the rest of the states.

Same Denver to LA, over twice as much to go to Denver.

Ignorance is bliss.  Life often teaches us important lessons, if we but listen.  Too often, we do not, so life forces us to learn the HARD way.

I've learned plenty of hard lessons. Not to rely on someone who promises they'll always protect you, that was a big one. Trust my gut, stick to my principles. Don't overestimate my intelligence but don't downplay it either. Listen to experts but ask questions. I don't need to please everyone. Scars can last a long, long time. Things can change in the blink of an eye. Have my own resources, emotional, social and otherwise. Take the blame when needed. Call out hypocrites. Don't hold my tongue to be nice or polite when someone is behaving badly. Love fiercely and be prepared for loss. Grief is in the body and the brain. Talk out problems. Secrets can fester and have a way of working themselves to the surface, no matter how you try to tamp them down. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself. Feel frustration and anger and sorrow and envy and then let them go. Be kind. Choose love.

Lots of things, really, most of them learned the very hard way.
