So back to the logic, in what way would someone in Canada be affected by Trumps decisions on a day to day basis more than someone like you would be?

My wife is a Philippine citizen, and she is affected by and cares about Trump's decisions more than many Americans.  Is that so hard to understand?

It's not hard to understand because you are making the same argument I made. She lives in the USA.  She is affected every day by every decision Trump makes, good or bad.

I think someone needs to point out to Steel on a map where Canada is. It seems he's under the impression American citizens have a hard time being in the US. Imagine when he finds out I've been in the US this summer to retrieve documents for taxes, our IR1, and a death certificate. Apparently Americans like me are "unaffected" by Trump. Notice how that logic doesn't apply to @CanAm1980, @JoBri, etc? I guess if you're gonna lose, lose big. Learn to deal with opposing opinions and perhaps cut out the trashy bad faith debating.

So it is "trashy, bad faith debating" to give one's opinion these days, regardless of who agrees or disagrees? It is "trashy" to hold an opinion contrary to someone else? Need to "toe the line", right? I guess I will be among the first to be hauled away for execution or re-education camp in the new order of things, because I will never give up and never give in to what I believe in my heart is right and good.

No, freedom of speach is one of those little things you have to surrender in a communist society. And no matter how you try to wrap it up, it is just that. It is what the Bidens and the Sanders and the AOCs and the Harrises all  wish for us. But there are countless numbers of us who will never give in. The opposition is strong. We are many. We will not surrender our freedoms and liberties peacefully, like sheep.  We will resist a takeover, a coup, of this great country.  And sadly, if those who wish to defend the Constitution and this great nation fail, I fear that this great nation may soon fall. Because all the things that made it great will be swept away by the ignorant mob who think they know better. Then there will be nothing left for anyone

How can you "Like" what I have to say, but yet call my opinions "trashy"? They are my opinions, yet you state they are "trashy", but still again you like them. I'm not so sure you are playing with a full deck

I think you're barking up the wrong tree my friend.  The argument (and the "trashy" comment were directed at Steeleballz, not you.  It stems from Steeleballz trying to tell Burnt that what Trump does doesn't affect Burnt because he is a USC living in Canada.  Much like CanAm doesn't live in the US, nor do you.

Methinks so.  If I am wrong, @Burnt Reynolds will be along soon enough and put me in my place.  But I am pretty sure his beef was with SB if you go back and read the previous page forward to here.

I just read where he included me in "trashy" comments. I never did such a thing. I only spoke my opinion. Maybe I misunderstood.  I wrote an apology to that

I think I horribly misunderd you in this link to my username,  and I apologize profusely.

But what I stated still applies to those who wish to take over this country. We will fight back. Do not ever think otherwise.  Heads up!

It's all good man, I am sure @Burnt Reynolds won't be visiting you anytime soon to slash your tires.  :)

The point was that one doesn't have to reside in the US to be affected by Trump or his policies.  And no one here thought you had anything to do with the word trashy, you were just used as an example of a member who isn't currently living in the US, but who is certainly entitled to their opinions of Trump and his policies.
