Question for some of you trumpsters that have served in any of the various branches of the military. As we all know DT applied for and was awarded a deferment during the Vietnam war for bone spurs, in addition to getting several education deferments. To be fair Clinton also received deferments and Obama was not subject to the draft. My question is does that give you any pause at all to know DT shirked his responsibilities by getting out of the draft like most rich guys did during that time? We see the same behavior with his non payment of taxes so that should not be anything new.

 

For the Trump camp to call him a warrior is a outright insult and I take great pause with it, not just with DT, but with ANY of the presidents who shirked their draft notices and or responsibilities. I also believe very much that DT did call people in the military losers, just look what he said about McCain!

It does not take a genius to figure that out! You'll have to admit even yourself the track record for this administration for almost 4 years has been less than forthcoming, why would they all of a sudden fess up with the truth now...of course they, well not they, DT is lying telling them what to say. What's your evidence his doctors are lying? Or that he's telling them to lie? What's your evidence people in the military inherently suck up to Trump and do his bidding? Assumptions can be good guiding principles if you're more likely to be right than wrong, but from what I've seen, you have a habit of not only being wrong but saying comically crazy stuff.

Joking is my thing occasionally when there's really nothing of substance to debate. Right now its just, some person said something different therefore "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.. the doctor is wrong!" How? "Just listen!" Well, to me and many others, McCain displayed noble traits. Trump, not so much. If you don't feel that way, that's your prerogative.

 

We are told the next 48 hours are critical but the president might go home Monday. Hard to reconcile the math.

I did not say people in the military suck up to DT! I said they do what he tells them too whether they want to or not, except for the top brass that have had the guts to tell the truth. If you can't see it then nothing I can say is going to change your mind and that's fine DT is your guy that's obvious and that's fine. But saying crazy stuff I would have to beg to differ with you on that as I could say the same thing about you.

 

You avoided my question though all together, I asked what you felt about DT dodging the draft and service in Vietnam due to bone spurs and educational deferments or have you yourself not served? We all know for a fact this is not crazy stuff as it is factual and a well known fact no assumption either but fact. I submit to you if I'm wrong and or proven wrong I can concede and admit, can you do the same? Most trumpsters can't including DT himself. I wonder what his tune is going to be now that he himself has been infected with this virus once he gets out of the hospital if ever he does, what will his tune be then?

To be fair Biden got a deferment also. Also landed his family members millions in payments so they could get access to biden

You might want to research this a bit more.  I'd say at least a good part of McCain's service was not very honorable.  He's got some mounds of dirt in his house when it comes to that.  I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but his military career wasn't all glory and honor, as told by those who served with him.

The only thing the left considers noble is the whole "orange man bad" thing. Thankfully I have a memory that spans longer than 4 years, where the left and I were on the same side (on a lot of things) including on how much a pile of trash McCain is (now, was). But you know, orange man, invert views, suppress/alter memory. 

 

They also say week 2 to 3 is the most critical. Critical is relative, there's very little "math" here, which is why you have trouble reconciling things. It's all based on how he's doing. That's why I think it's funny you guys think you know better than his doctors. I can't tell you what they're saying is true, but I also don't actually observe him personally.. nonetheless, even as a skeptic myself, we've seen a video of him just yesterday, he doesn't look like he's a very old guy in some kind of serious condition. There's no reason not to believe the doctors when they say he briefly had oxygen saturation issues, these aren't that serious by themselves at Trump's supposed levels stated if taken care of quickly, and that seems to be what happened. I have no evidence to prove otherwise, even if some of the stuff other people around Trump's cabinet said (at any given time) doesn't jive with the doctors seeing him in isolation say. Like everything else surrounding Trump, things are made to look like a big deal.

I don't consider myself a "trumpeter" (whatever that actually is?), but I don't personally care that he dodged the draft.  Many, MANY people did.  And I know people that TRIED to get into the military after the draft ended, but could not due to issues such as bone spurs, flat feet, asthma, etc.  

I haven't heard anyone calling Trump a warrior, but if they do, oh well.  Each of us have our own definition of that word, and I suspect yours and mine are pretty close to the same.  I don't personally consider him a warrior.  

 

I do not believe Trump called anyone in the military losers.  That was just a LWNJ attempt to discredit the president close to the election to hurt his image, period.  Too many people who were there debunked it, and the "anonymous sources" were too chicken **** to come forward.
