On the other hand "vaccines just around the corner" seems overly optimistic it will take months to achieve a ramp up even if we do have a proven vaccine. I am not trying to start a fight, just being realistic. Q2-Q3 seems possible.

 

 

  We are starting vaccinations November 1st, although it's very structured - limited to front line medical staff and first responders in the first round, then high risk groups, etc. But it is starting November 1st, so that is "just around the corner".

By "we", are you referring to your hospital?  The US?  Your state?

   Whoever it's being released to. We are getting the Pfizer one IIRC, and all hospitals, first responders, nursing homes in the state are getting the same one, but not sure how much.  Moderna's vaccine is also coming out so some states will have that. All they told us is that the vaccine will be mandatory for all employees eventually, but the first doses in November will go to staff working directly with Covid patients. They are not sure how much we are getting, just that it will be coming by late October and vaccinations will begin in November.

 

  I'm not sure if physicians offices and health clinics will get any from the first release. Depends how much there is available in Nov. The goal was 300 million does by January, and I have also heard it's a two shot deal, 3 weeks apart, so if that's correct,  if an office gets 100 doses, that will allow them to schedule 50 people for vaccination.

I agree with you there especially since the vaccines are going to have DT written all over the viles. Many people are not going to touch that with a 10 foot pole!

Yes.  Because presidents usually develop vaccines.

 

As I said... reading comprehension isn't everyone's strong suit. (Nor is logic).

Exactly they don't  develop them, but these first few are going to smell of DT.
