So 15.3% of HCW’s wearing cloth masks got sick, and 8.3% of HCW’s wearing medical masks got sick.

That’s about right and runs with the 50% or so relative efficacy reported in other studies.

50% relative efficacy treating unmasked patients?  That’s all one can glean from these tables but I’ll take it.  At an Ro of 2-3 you’re almost there if your goal is to break a transmission train and stamp it out.

Believe we agreed masks worn by the public don’t protect the wearer, but add 50% protection (vs a medical mask) to reduction (not mentioned here) in aerosols by a masked infected wearer and you can probably see why Tokyo and Taipei and Kuala Lumpur did so well.

Where do the actual numbers in this study say that a cloth mask is worse than no mask at all?

Trump's campaign manager tests positive for Covid-19

Updated 1:05 AM EDT, Sat October 03, 2020

(CNN)President Donald Trump's campaign manager Bill Stepien has tested positive for coronavirus, according to a senior official, becoming the latest figure in the President's inner circle to be infected with Covid-19.

Stepien received the results of the test on Friday night and is suffering from what the official described as "mild flu-like" symptoms.

Stepien traveled to Cleveland with the President and his team on Tuesday for the first presidential debate and was seen in close proximity to Hope Hicks, the President's top aide who also tested positive.

Look who has more humanity, loyalty, and integrity than you.  Not very surprising.

What isn’t surprising is a trumper holding up Kim Jong as a shining example of humanity, loyalty, and integrity.

What I said.  No study ever concluded a single covering was worse than nothing at all

Testing has been done.  Early summer.

ACS Nano has 85 pages of tables with carefully tested materials and filtration efficiencies as a function of particle size stapled to a report documenting the math and assumptions.

But you knew that.  Because you’re MIT  Me?  I’ll take it.  65% reduction in Ro of 2.5 drives this virus out of circulation.  I’ll

leave the math to you.  Lots of room

for trumpers who dont want to carry their load.  We’re used to that by now.

So are you retracting the study you posted or just refusing to read it?
