Live updates: WH chief of staff says Trump’s vitals over past 24 hours are ‘very concerning

The White House on Saturday created a startling amount of confusion on the timing of President Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis and the status of his health through a series of conflicting statements, injecting an extraordinary degree of uncertainty into the nation’s understanding of the president’s condition and who may have been exposed to the deadly virus.

At a Saturday morning news conference, members of Trump’s medical team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center said the president is fever-free and that they are “extremely happy” with the progress he has made. But Mark Meadows, the White House chief of staff, said Trump went through a “very concerning” period over the last day.

“The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning, and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care,” Meadows said. “We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery.”

Trump’s medical team also suggested the president knew he tested positive for the coronavirus earlier than had been reported. Sean P. Conley, Trump’s physician, said we are “72 hours into the diagnosis,” meaning the president could have tested positive as early as Wednesday. And the team refused to answer key questions about when the president was first diagnosed and first symptomatic, and whether he had received supplemental oxygen.

I think the simple solution here is to ask for the resistance vaccine.

My primary concern for taking a vaccine wouldn't be someone's name or the smell of them though.

I guess reading comprehension runs deep, I simply meant since DT has his hands in the production process at least the speed portion of manufacturing and development, that I along with many others would not touch this vaccine with a 10 foot pole. But I know you understood  perfectly what I was saying.

Oh ok.. but seriously, how could Trump possibly have enough time to play project management for vaccine production when he's so busy being in Putin's pocket?

My thoughts exactly.  And why would he develop another vaccine, he could simply use the one the Russians are using with limited testing.

Biden seems to have a good sense of smell, too, so, we could ask him to sniff the vaccine for us to make sure it doesn't reek of Trump (or maybe like Putin's pockets?).

It's  quite alright gang up on me since my buddy is incapacitated at the moment. Trying to reason with trumpsters is like participating in a debate with DT himself.

I love all, the concern over President Trump.  He has the Vid, and he is being treated, hopefully it does not get as bad as the bout BoJo had in the UK, but Trump is in a high risk group, so who knows.  The simple fact is the US has a very well established succession plan if this takes a turn for the worse which hopefully it will not.  We do also have to keep in mind that HIPPA rules apply even to the President, and although we should get a little more information since it is the President, he is still afforded those rules, and considering this event is unfolding and all the world’s media is rapt with attention, there are other things important in the world.  I just drove 22.5 hours back from Wyoming and listened to the news for about 15 minutes, I could not take any more of the obsession.

Not really a Trumpster or whatever you call it, but I am certainly an anti-Marxist, and anti-socialist, so whatever it takes to keep that at bay.  Also, I am really against identity politics, and the Dems are famous for that practice.
