Looking for any recent successes in being allowed to fly MEL to SYD in order to connect to a flight to the US.. or anywhere internationally really !  I am an Aussie citizen living in the US (LPR ) so I don’t need an exemption to leave Australia ... but in order to fly out I need to fly through Sydney. Has anyone been successful in getting the NSW border exemption ? I’m booked to fly into Sydney in a few weeks .. will quarantine in Sydney then fly to MEL to see my 92 year old parents who are finding the long lockdown really tough going. Appreciate the “on the ground wisdom and insight” Thx !
