Ok 1st, you dont send anything to NVC. You send things to the California service center.

2nd, what evidence you will need at the interview is really dependent upon you country. Most people bring proof of a continuing relationship, whcih could include all those things you mentioned. You can try the regional forums and read up on what other people at your consulate brought. However, YOU wont need anything until the interview stage. Good luck!

for proof of meeting prior to the petition, I prepared pictures (which they took 4 of it).

for the proof of ongoing/genuine relationship, I prepared emails(2 per month, 1 from me and hubby), chat logs with screen shots, pictures etc. Emails alone were taken as proof.

Are you talking about evidence to show at the EMBASSY or evidence to send in with your initial I-129F petition?

If you're talking about the petition, forget about emails and chat logs. They are irrelevant at this stage. Photos are only secondary evidence and they will only help you if you also have primary evidence to show. At the initial filing stage, you need to prove FIRST that you intend to marry, that is done with a signed letter saying so (see the example letters here on VJ) and SECOND that you have been together in person within the last two years. That's where the evidence comes in. This is what USCIS is looking for:

Submit evidence of meeting the meneficiary in person within the two-year period preceding the filing of the petiition. The primary evidence may include airline ticket stubs and receipts (that indicate month, day, and year), copies of passport pages taht show the identification page and admission stamps, military order(s), letter from Commanding Officer, or any evidence that will help the USCIS to determine that the petitioner has met the beneficiary within the two years. The secondary evidence may be film dated photographs of the petitioner and the beneficiary together. The following DOES NOT constitue evidence of meeting: disc, videos, emails, letters, phone bills, and greeting cards.

That information is a direct quote from one of the more common letters requesting additional evidence received by VJers. Check out the "RFE" thread in the K1 general forum for more information.

If you already HAVE filed the petition and you're asking about evidence for the interview, then the kind you are talking about is correct. And if so, please fill in your timeline! Thanks!

Hopefully she's talking about the interview at the consulate, since the petition was submitted a few months ago.

Agree - she needs to fill in her timeline.
