Approved after interview then AP

My husband had his visa interview on 09/28/2020 in the san salvador embassy. He was handed a white paper that said it was approved and that he should receive his passport 8 to 10 days. When I went to cec it was on ready status then on 09/30/2020 it was changed to administrative processing. Should i worry or is this a normal process.

It's normal!  The status goes into Administrative Processing until the Visa foil is pasted into the passport.  Sometimes this takes a few hours, but in some countries it can take as long as two weeks.  The machines that print them are very specialized equipment.

Good!  The wait is long, and the "not knowing" part is terrible.  But it all comes good in the end!
