I feel bad for fellows who are still waiting. Mine took 13 months for interview and 14 months for oath, but i-751 took as long as 22 months for us. So hang in there, your turn is just around the corner!

I just had my interview in the Sacramento (CA) office and filed under the 3yr rule. It was super easy and got recommended for approval! Now we wait for the letter regarding the oath ceremony.

Hello, I know you said you filed under 3 years rule. Please do you go to the interview with your spouse?

You are expected to go with your spouse. We went together and the IO actually asked about it.

No, no one but the applicant is allowed in. My spouse only went with me once and that was for my AOS interview.

Nobody else was aloud in unless you needed help.

Hello, I would love to know if you had both i751 and N400 interview together. I also have pending i751 and it has been pending for 24 months now. I have N400 interview notice for next month. I would love if you can share a little bit of your experience during the interview if you had both interview on the same day.  And this is why I want to take my spouse with me. Thank you.

Our i-751 fortunately got approved 3 months before our N-400 interview after 22 months of waiting. I'd just take my spouse if I were you. Sometimes they'd ask and it would be nice to show commitment when you point out that your spouse is waiting outside. Just my 2 cents, others may think differently. So your call!

Just thought to update you all.

My husband had his naturalization interview on Jan 5. He was approved. Hopefully soon he will be scheduled to take the Oath. The field office his interview was at was in Montgomery, AL.

For all of you still waiting for your interview, it will come. It took about 6 months to be scheduled an interview after his biometrics appointment which was in Atlanta.

I wish you all well.

Hi, I was wondering if you ever had your oath ceremony scheduled? I had my interview Dec 1, and was approved at the same field office, but I am still waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled! All contacts I have had they say my application has been approved, just waiting for oath, nothing needed from me! I just don’t understand why it’s taking so long! I applied July 2020
