I called the sheriffs office where the citation was issued and she was kind enough to send me a copy but said there is no record anymore of them being paid. Any ideas? Do you think they are going to want me to provide proof I paid it? I know for sure I did, in fact I paid it as soon as I got home, I would have got a judgement or something if I did not.

I also did not have this paperwork. I was in a car accident in 2018 (no one was hurt, insurance paid for everything) and I got a citation for "basic rules violation". I mentioned this on my application and the officer as me about it so I told them everything that happened including the fact that I ended up paying a fine and the case was closed and they didn't ask for any proof.

Just got home from my interview.  Went smoothly except for when it was my time to write, i don't know where the nerves came from, my hand started shaking.. but i passed it so I'm just awaiting the letter.

Hello Everyone and hope you are well! I just had some questions since interview is coming up this month, would appreciate any input.

 

Is our spouse required to be present? I filed under the 3 year rule ( marriage based) but my conditions were removed over a year ago. I guess just bring some proof of mortgage / bank statements to show we are still married?

 

The Civics test questions, on the PDF from USCIS there are some questions with multiple bullet points for answers, I assume just one of those is acceptable? For example Question 2 says :

 

What does the Constitution do? ▪ sets up the government ▪ defines the government ▪ protects basic rights of Americans

 

So would I say just one of those or all of them?

Just had my interview today, passed, and oath ceremony scheduled for this Friday!!!!

 

the only thing that I was asked was to provide proof of every single traffic ticket I had, which I admitted to the interviewer that I did not rember all of them, and he said no worries just tell me what you remember, and he approved me on the spot.

 

The officer was pretty friendly

Yesterday, I got an email saying On August 5, 2021, we scheduled an interview for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION.

Today, I got another email saying We have taken an action on your case and it needs your attention. Sign in to your account to view your case status and additional steps you need to take.

 

I entered My USCIS and now the letter is there. Interview scheduled for Tuesday, September 14.

Update: Last week I sent an email (the military specify address) basically asking what's with the hold up. On Friday, I received a reply saying the Montgomery office was working on it and that my case was on the interview scheduling phase, and that I would hear something from them soon.

 

Today I got a notification on my case to "interview scheduled". Checked the documents and the letter is there: scheduled for September 14th.

I don't know if my email actually made this happen, but I'm excited nonetheless.

I hope I get to do the oath on the same day 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

 

Also, at the same time, my estimated completion date jumped from 4, to 13 months... Hopefully that doesn't mean anything.

Your husband won't be allowed into the building. Those materials should be enough and also bring 2020's tax returns and transcripts. Also bring a couple of extra evidence including photos, wedding gifts, etc. And don't forget to study the 100 questions.

We received a text on July 29th that there was an update to my husbands case- interview has been scheduled for August 26th!! Brooklyn/NYC office. Getting everything ready now!
