We finally received an interview date for November 10th!
 

We requested an expedite a few days ago based on a medical emergency. My father-in-law is very very sick and my husband is really struggling under the pressure and needs my help to take care of him. We had a doctor’s note from the ICU and all that to support the case. Now I’m wondering if this was the expedited interview date or not? The email didn’t mention anything about the expedite and the date is over a month away. So I’m thinking this might be just a fluke and maybe they haven’t processed the expedite yet because we only sent it a few days ago. 
 

Also, on CEAC, the status still says “at NVC” even though the email states that the case is at the local embassy.

Dublin opened back up on July 24th with "limited capabilities" :)

you dont need to print the whole application just print the confirmation page, it carries a barcode and a number, that is what they need.

Did you request expedite? When did you receive your interview letter?

We received our interview letter yesterday. We applied for an expedite but were denied.

We are not dealing with the same embassy, but my husband took his just in case they may asked for it.

Apparently, PAKISTAN EMBASSY has also begun working on immigrant visas for spouses and children of USCitizens, according to the embassy’s COVID-19 page. (last updated 7th October 2020) So hoping some good news soon 🙂

congratulations for getting your interview date. if you just got the email, the status might take sometime till it change to Ready. mine took 2 days after I received an email about my interview date.

Okay so basically 4 months before they scheduled you. Not as bad as I imagine so I’m hoping for 3-4 months before they schedule

All the people waiting for the Guyana Embassy they have resumed processing officially for CR/IR visas for US citizens for spouses and children under 21 and K1 visas.   They said that they are currently rescheduling every appt cancelled for March/April and May.  Time estimate they gave for getting an interview is 1-3 months.  I am going to request an expedite today with NVC.   I also sent in an email to the Georgetown Embassy to see if I can get anywhere...we have been apart and waiting forever 😭

What's your Reason for Expedite, I'm waiting on my Interview also
