We bit the bullet yesterday and my husband sent an expedite request to NVC
He contacted the military helpline at USCIS, they made the suggestion to contact NVC and the representative he spoke with agreed he should put forward a request.

We're hopeful that it will be reviewed in good time and actioned at the embassy here at London before the pattern continues from Dublin and it closes again. I'm not holding out a lot of hope, but good to try anyway as I've seen mention from a lot of people here.

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting and speedy processing! :)

Good luck! We got our expedited due to military reasons, hope it will happen for you too! It took just over two weeks from sending an expedite request and having London embassy to get our case - today actually.

Thank you! Hope the embassy processing you guys quickly 😊

We were waiting because we thought we had the time, but things are progressing quite quickly and we want to make sure we don’t get separated with no hope of a reunion.

Thanks for the info too, two weeks sounds okay, just difficult if Covid cases continue to progress, we may be too late! Still hoping though.

Same here! We didn’t request expedite whilst I-130, but as you say - now it’s time to move quicker.

hopefully Not! We’re hunting/waiting for interview date right now.

You know exactly what we mean and are going through then!
Good luck to you guys though, hope you find something soon and you guys are able to be reunited and continue planning your lives together.

Do keep us/me updated and I’ll try and do the same 🤞🏽

Nothing in Brazil. From the number of visas, it seems they are only doing emergency/expedited cases.

So, update.  I just called the NVC and waited the dreadful 1hr wait time.  I  got a very nice lady who let me know yes it was approved 10/15. however it has not been sent yet as they were going to schedule it with the Embassy.  She said they are going to schedule it...and for me to wait for the email from them.  In the expedite approval it said the Embassy would schedule now I'm super confused....guess I will give it until next Friday 😑... but at least we are moving along.

What number did you use to call NVC? My wife was DQ'd August 19th, one daughter 10/15 and the other 10/19. I am getting anxious so I wanted to call but maybe I need to give them more time?
