you're welcome. I can be wrong but I saw in this forum that few earlier cases in UK were able to schedule their own interview once the case was received and showing "ready" status. Maybe give them a call once the status becomes ready?

And I did not receive any email also about interview cancellation. Almost all of the people I know who expedited got that automated email and it scared the hell out of me when I didn't. But thank god it doesn't matter you get it or not as long as your case status changes.

Thanks! 😊 we’re just actually got an email that our case is with Embassy in London! 🥳 and the CEAC says it’s In London.  so now we’re waiting for instruction.

Hi, Anyone complete medical and get scheduled for interview in Manila recently? My wife will finally complete medical next week after waiting 2 month sputum results (hopefully we’ll receive good news). Just wondering what the wait times look like for interview after medical these days.

thanks!

We’re not scheduled for interview yet. I do believe you need to complete medical before they will schedule interview

yes, thats true, she didn't do wrong, but usually you do the medical check up after you got your interview date information.

because the medical check up only valid for 6 months and she needs to enter the US before it expired, otherwise you need to re-do the check up.

hopefully you will hear about the date soon. :)

I just scheduled my medical appointment without having interview date. Most of people doing it, as if you haven’t hit your medical on time, it will delay visa processing.

maybe it depends also on the country, so i think both way are possible, as i said i didnt say it was wrong either.

in Japan you cant do the medical check up without your interview appointment letter and only allowed to go to the designated hospital that has linked with the US embassy, thats why i need to wait until i got my interview date information. usually here there will be interval time 4~5 weeks until the interview. just sharing what i know :)

So after getting your results, you just send an email to the embassy requesting an interview appointment? Also, I thought you needed an interview appointment letter to schedule a medical appointment, or?

Yeah it definitely differs at different embassies 😊

You don’t need to send anything yourself. The place you’d be doing your medical appointment  would sent results and medical certificate to your Embassy.

in United Kingdom, you just need case number and visa category details to be able to book an appointment.

Are you in Philippines? I actually received an email asking if all requirements including medical were completed and to reply once done. At that time they will schedule interview. It may vary by country but it seems that's how things have been going in the Philippines these past few months.

no, i am not in the Philippines. i was sharing my experience and was read what was written on the travel.state.gov for the US embassy in Philippines. maybe the procedure changed that way because of Covid19. anyway, hope you can hear soon for your interview date, good luck :)

We bit the bullet yesterday and my husband sent an expedite request to NVC
He contacted the military helpline at USCIS, they made the suggestion to contact NVC and the representative he spoke with agreed he should put forward a request.

We're hopeful that it will be reviewed in good time and actioned at the embassy here at London before the pattern continues from Dublin and it closes again. I'm not holding out a lot of hope, but good to try anyway as I've seen mention from a lot of people here.

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting and speedy processing! :)
