 Yeah it's still says in at NVC. But this morning, a day after expedite approval email, we got email about Appointment cancellation ?? I seem to remember reading about it happening to other people in the forum who expedite. Did you get that email too?

For my case which was expedited, it showed 'at nvc' first and on August 26 changed to 'in transit' when they sent it. It then changed to 'ready' when my case was received by embassy on August 30. And I think the interview depends on the specific embassy. Don't worry you're almost there 😊

So, update.  I just called the NVC and waited the dreadful 1hr wait time.  I  got a very nice lady who let me know yes it was approved 10/15. however it has not been sent yet as they were going to schedule it with the Embassy.  She said they are going to schedule it...and for me to wait for the email from them.  In the expedite approval it said the Embassy would schedule now I'm super confused....guess I will give it until next Friday 😑... but at least we are moving along.

The interview cancellation email usually comes right before the expedite approval email so it's nothing to worry about😊

You should just wait. At this point it's mostly waiting. It's even more frustrating for me than at the USCIS and NVC stage lol. Especially since I've not heard anything from the embassy yet

Our case is showing as last updated on the 16th of October, which of course was a Friday and who knows if there is much movement in processing so close to the weekend. Hi , our status has just changed to issued today (Wednesday) , just wanted to let you know. Interview was on monday and issued on Wednesday . Hope yours will change soon too , good luck .

Congrats! Still no change in status for us, but we are also at a different Embassy. Hopefully soon!

Sad news from Dublin today- visa services are suspended and interviews are canceled. I'll take the interview date off my timeline and it should be removed from the spreadsheet as well- don't want to give anyone false hope.

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope everyone stays home and the covid cases drop so the embassy can reopen and resume interviews.

The link mentioned in the first post about asking for an expedite to your case once you are document ready and are just waiting for an interview doesnt work. Anyone know how to go about asking them to expedite your case?

You need to send an email to the following  address: NVCExpedite@state.gov 

make sure you put case number in the subject too. Good luck!

thank you! so NVC has already cleared me and i'm just waiting for the consulate to schedule, this is still the place to email?

Yes, definitely. That’s exactly when I put my expedite request, when I got DQ already 😊

you're welcome. I can be wrong but I saw in this forum that few earlier cases in UK were able to schedule their own interview once the case was received and showing "ready" status. Maybe give them a call once the status becomes ready? 

And I did not receive any email also about interview cancellation. Almost all of the people I know who expedited got that automated email and it scared the hell out of me when I didn't. But thank god it doesn't matter you get it or not as long as your case status changes.
