Regarding the interview,  it's dependent on the embassy. Some seem to allow the applicant schedule their own interview. For others, you'll have to wait for the embassy to send you a date. I'm still waiting on my embassy for an interview appointment (case was expedited and showed ready on October 14) since I'm unable to schedule on my own.

gotcha thank you for the response...when did you receive your expedite approve email vs when your nvc status was accepted?  I have to be scheduled too... by Embassy I believe.  I'll update if I get an update before you.  I also update my timelines so you can look there too if you'd like

10/10-Nvc accepted email

13/10- CEAC status changed to IN TRANSIT

14/10- status changed to READY

I emailed the embassy and asked if I could go ahead and schedule an appointment but I received an automated response email...so I'm stuck for now🤷‍♀️

We toogit aporoved expedite request and not sure what’s next. We got NVC accepted email this morning 20/10, and the status still shows NVC.

oh wow your status changed quickly ... you must have an online app...unfortunately mine is paper...so probably will take more than. 3 days...I wish they just scanned everything lol.  Well hopefully you get your interview soon.

well ours is paper so I'm expecting it's probably gonna take at least 2 weeks for us but I would like to see a status of in transit at least so I know it's in route.  If you're a online petition  it may go faster.

We had our interview on Friday morning, and now it's Tuesday and the CEAC tracker still shows our status as "Ready". Should I be worried that it hasn't changed to any of the processing statuses yet?

We were approved too on monday ,ours said ready for a day , tuesday evening it changed to administrative processing.

Thanks for sharing your experience -- It's good to know there are other people who didn't have their status change immediately after. Our case is showing as last updated on the 16th of October, which of course was a Friday and who knows if there is much movement in processing so close to the weekend. Hopefully we will have our status change soon -- we are so close and anxious to have that Visa in hand!

For my case which was expedited, it showed 'at nvc' first and on August 26 changed to 'in transit' when they sent it. It then changed to 'ready' when my case was received by embassy on August 30. And I think the interview depends on the specific embassy. Don't worry you're almost there 😊

I just got this email saying we are expedited for our interview in Jakarta, Indonesia! I requested back in July after our DQ and they said they couldn't so I'm not sure what happened but I'm happy. I checked the status and it says "in transit". Guess I finally need to mail our documents to my husband!

I just posted my email above about getting my expedite approved for Jakarta. They denied us back in July then just randomly said our petition was send to the embassy today!

So, update.  I just called the NVC and waited the dreadful 1hr wait time.  I  got a very nice lady who let me know yes it was approved 10/15. however it has not been sent yet as they were going to schedule it with the Embassy.  She said they are going to schedule it...and for me to wait for the email from them.  In the expedite approval it said the Embassy would schedule now I'm super confused....guess I will give it until next Friday 😑... but at least we are moving along.

Oh wow. Never heard of that though, but let's hope for the best
