My NOA 1 finally arrived in the mail today Text was received 10/26/2020 and 11/5/2020 the physical copy arrived. Hope this helps create a timeline for others.

So, my prediction was correct. Congratulations. I'll give you a heads up don't expect a NOA2 for 7-8 months. That's the current processing time.

My application was delivered to USCIS on 10/20, and they've just charged my payment today on 11/11. How soon does the text usually follow? Thanks!

This question was asked and answered earlier in this thread here https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/749094-october-2020-i-129f-k-1-filers/?do=findComment&comment=10291487 It's would be an advantage for you to start from the beginning and read earlier posts so that you are up to speed.

 

Also, if you check the timelines of others, link is in their profile on the left column, it will tell you when they sent the packet and how soon after they received their NOA1. It's another yardstick to use to answer your question.

I would say give it until next week, I sent mine 10/15 and it got there the 10/19 and I got my text on 11/5 and my NOA1 11/9.

Last night, the $535 was deducted from my account...Never been so happy to have money charged to my account. 🙂 I haven't received a text or email or anything (which I am not expecting at all yet), but it was a good feeling to see someone opened the envelope, even it was just to process my payment...LOL

We filed I-129F at the beginning of October with a check for $510, because we had seen the news about the fee going down as of 2nd October 2020 but did not see the news in time that the fee changes had been cancelled.

 

It has been over 4 weeks now and there has been no money withdrawn from the bank account, no SMS and no NOA1 letter.

 

What is likely to happen at this point? We are well behind the schedule of the other filers in this thread to have the payment taken and receive the SMS. It seems likely that the missing $25 is causing the delay as we had certified delivery that USCIS definitely received our I-129F packet over a month ago now. Retrospectively it would have been far easier to just pay the extra $25 but we had no idea that the news about the fee changes being cancelled would come out just a couple of days before they were supposed to go into effect.

I-129F Sent: 2020-10-10

I-129F Received: 2020-10-20

I-129F Payment Processed: 2020-11-11

I-129F Text Received: 2020-11-12 (about 24 hours after the payment was processed)

 

NOA1 to follow soon!

Checking in to be a part of the club. Our I-129F was received at the Dallas lockbox on October 29th. We are still waiting for any kind of indication that they are doing anything with the application, but that appears to be normal going by the other posts in this thread.
