Hi All 🙂

How does it take on average to get RFE processed? They have received my reply on 08/20 but so far no news.

Is it better to make a phone call or it just take time?

Thanks and have a good day!

Nicolo

I have realized NOA 2 expires in 4 months, how can it be extended? thanks

I've heard the consulate will automatically extend it at the interview.

I was looking for this thread a while back for my brother's case. I have been helping him file the case, such as information gathering.

anyways. He filed in October of last year (6 to be exact) and he got his NOA1 3 months after. He got the RFE in July and we sent the response about 3 weeks later. He got the approval of the NOA2 today (there is letter in the mail but I got the case tracker update). They approved the case on August 11, 2021.

the next question I have is that when should he call NVC to find out the case number? A month's time? Is that ideal?

Also does anyone here knows what the status of Pakistan's US embassy is? We are thinking of his wedding date to be sometime in March 2022 but we want to make sure that we can do that or no. I know that AOS takes time and lately due to the pandemic the K1 processing has been slower than usual. What is the ideal way to go about this?

your help is appreciative.

Hey all, should have updated my profile sooner. My fiance had her interview earlier today and was approved. So just under 10 months from when we started. Ukraine embassy in Kiev. She said was a pretty easy interview but many questions. Anyway good luck to all!

Wow, congrats!

Congrats!! Super jealous! Our consulate is a year behind in interviews sadly. Safe travels for your fiance!

hi guyss, so just wanted to update you all that our case arrived at embassy and it’s ready ! i was actually in shock when i received email that our petition is in transit to the embassy!!! I thought we were gonna wait 6 months at minimum at nvc stage, that we have time, given the experiences of other vj members and for how long we waited noa2, but less than 2 months here it is. Waiting for p3 instructions to schedule medical exam. Besides birth certificate from Serbia and proof of Croatian citizenship (since i have dual) i haven’t collected any other documents and i am on holiday for 14 days more. Talked to some members and they said it takes around 2 months for interview after p3 at my consulate.. Not to mention i have atleast 3 or 4 more months to finish my orthodontist appointment, ugh.

Does anyone know how to check the case status once you get the NVC case number?  I'm not sure how to or where to go
