In mean time I have a question. On the NOA2 letter there is approval of notice valid from 14/06/2021 till 13/10/2021 time frame. Does anyone know what this approval time frame mean?

It means that you have to schedule the interview at your embassy before the expiring date. If the embassy has problem with scheduling, you can get an extention but I guess you have to tell them in advance.

here's the update for the entirety of last week - really not much difference with the extra 2 days unfortunately. i think they've definitely switched their focus to Nov filers now

thanks so much . i have a question when they start processing a month do they start in order from fist day of the month till end of the month or when they start processing November they process all dates at the same time I mean some process begining some middle of the month and some end of the month ?

I'm relatively inexperienced on this platform, but it's reassuring and heartwarming to see so many similarly situated folks agonizing just like me! My NOA1 was October 26, 2020; still no word yet. A special thank you to whoever maintains and updates that spreadsheet. It looks like there were a number of approvals given today to those between 11750 and 12000. I'm not sure if that is consistent with recent trends or shows that they are getting these October cases processed quicker after all. Curious to hear the opinions of others. Thanks!

I was told they process applications by receive date and not WAC number but USCIS screwed up big time between October 1st and November só on top of being the government (which is messy enough already) we have to deal with inconsistency and lack of criteria. They could care less of course - we have to sit and wait….

it's kind of both: they initially go in order from the 1st day of the month through to the last, but there are always cases from earlier days of the month that don't get looked at until far later. for example, Oct 30 cases had to wait for movement to start on every date of Oct prior to them, but now some Oct 30 filers are approved while many Oct 23 filers are still waiting. i'm really not sure why that's the case...

not at all! when i did the previous update, it was mid-week and accounted for Mon-Wed's USCIS activity (3 working days). the end of week update then adds Th-Fri numbers so it's 5 working days total

Isn't WAC number private? Or is it like public information provided by USCIS?

 

How accurate are these apps to change the filing status from received to approved etc? I am using the app for android USCIS case which let's me search 100 numbers at a time.

It’s public info but your details will not be made public. So no one knows the name of the petitioner and beneficiary and details unless they are somehow able to link it to a case number which the person would have to disclose themselves or there was a huge hack and leak of info

8 days since my RFE reply was received and no word yet. Guess I’m not a lucky one that gets approval in a week. Ugh

here's this week's update! i'm going to start doing these once a week again bc the processing for Oct has slowed down a lot, and there's not much change to report between mid-week and end of week.

 

for october cases, we've crossed half approved! less than 1/5 that haven't been touched at all. Oct-20 cases seem to be the most problematic - almost 3/4 still pending for that date. there was significant movement on Oct-23 (though still more than 1/2 pending) and Oct-29 saw the most movement

It's good because I used that one when I was waiting for my Nov approval. It worked perfectly.
