Ours starts with 38 and our receipt date is December 28, we got there notice on February 27

so then it seems we are in order why guys say some case numbers are messed up. the only messed up is about receipt number which has delays for some

My file date is early Jan. My wac starts with 40. Seems to be in order.

Most of them are in order, it’s mostly November which is all over the place and has some December included in it

My file date is mid jan and starts with 44!

Don’t base your calculations on receipt date. The receipt number is irrelevant, they base their cases on receipt date

Oh man I was going to be able to submit a “outside normal processing time” request tomorrow but they just changed the processing time range.

Hi friends - here's the weekly roundup (compared to last week's numbers, not the mid-week ones)!

 

They are making their way through cases, though mostly concentrated on the first half of October. Average cases processed per day is nearly at 60! This does however include November filers which I think is reflected in the later case ranges (16500-20000).

 

I've also done something different this week and pulled together a table based purely on October received date. This should include most petitions, with the exceptions noted above and below the table (I had statuses from Apr 27 that I was able to reference for Received Dates before most processing began). About 3/4 of October cases are still pending and haven't been looked it. Second half of the month is also still virtually untouched. Another interesting note is that they're issuing pretty even numbers of Approved and RFEs (12% vs 11%).

So good. Thank you so much  60 cases a day is a pretty solid average, hopefully processing times pick up! 

 

Do you think they are trying to do both October and November at the same time to decrease the processing time? Are they only doing certain days in November or have they started at the beginning and are moving through? I know a few days in November were randomly approved really early...

Yeah, I think that's a pretty good guess for why they've picked up November cases again! Definitely not starting from the beginning though - I looked at the dates, and there were 12 Nov-16 approvals/RFEs and 1 RFE for Nov-13

Omg !!! so happy for you guys, I hope thr next steps will go by quick now😊... makes me feel excited whenever I hear people are approved. And yes the updates I am sure are what everyone here looks forward to especially to not go insane lol
