Woo! My partner got the text last night, so we finally have our NOA1!! Let's hope London gets their stuff together and starts processing K-1s!

Question, will our letter have more information on it? - or just say it has been received?

The NOA1 letter will have your WAC# (case number basically until NVC assigns the genuine number) receipt date and approval date. That about all.

Welcome to the group. USCIS is notorious about not sending an email notification even with a G-1145. Most don't receive an email but it's not typical not to receive a NOA1 or NOA2 by snail mail so keep an eye out for those. BTW you do not need a the NOA's for any part of any process moving forward so don't go crazy trying to figure out why you didn't receive one.

Don't fret. I sent mine on the 8th of October and it got there the 9th. Last night I received my  text telling me they received it and I'm sure the notice will arrive in the mail this week.  Sounds like you are about a week or so behind me.

Thank you I’m just waiting on NOA1  one just to have my case  number, Funniest thing is I didn’t put the G 1145 form in there.

Hello, everyone!

We have finally managed to meet in September and started filing this month.

Our i-129F form was delivered to Dallas on October 26, 2020.

Waiting for NOA1 and hoping things do speed up.

RapidVisa is helping us file and they estimate that petition will take 6-9 months to finish.

But USCIS estimates case processing time from 5 Months to 7 Months right now.

So this is a little confusing but we are hoping for the best.

Welcome to the thread for October NOA1 filers. Let's get the unwelcome news out of the way. RapidVisa is not going to do anything you can't do yourself. Everything you need is here on VJ. We are a community that will help you self-file. So, if you haven't paid all your fees to RV I would suggest "firing" them as all they do is look over your paperwork and they aren't particularly good at do that. No guarantees that your work will be error free so why pay them. You're doing all the work. You can use the "search" box in the upper right-hand corner, and I was able to see many articles concerning RapidVisa here on VJ. It's an amazing tool to use. You'll get a better understanding of what I am speaking off. Of course, I understand you may have your own reasons to use them but I opine to give you a heads up just the same.

Ok. We can't say with any certainty when you will get processed. But the 6-8 months is pretty accurate. Most are under 7 months currently.

Also, we need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Thanks

Thank you for a warm welcome!

We have decided to go with RapidVisa just so we can have everything in one place. It's quite difficult cause we have 11hr time difference and only get several hours of both of us online to deal with visa stuff.

It has been very convenient to coordinate between us so far with the forms being in one account that we both can access any time.

We managed to complete our form and send it in less than a week so making good time so far.

Manifesting that processing times become way less for all of us ❤️

Create an online depository where both of you can find all the documents. Google, Microsoft, Drop Box and more. Here is a website that will offer other providers. https://www.lifewire.com/free-cloud-storage-1356638. Throughout our process we used Drop Box and my wife was in the Philippines and she could get any document that she needed at any time. She uploaded as well as I. Never had a problem.
