Hey, just bringing this group up. How's everyone doing? When do you guys expect an approval? :) we will be at the 7 month mark soon; yay!

They are still processing September - at a very slow pace I should say. The September group already reported people passing the 7th month mark without a NOA2. Visit the September 2020 chat and you will see where it is going....

It's rough :/ We'd been feeling like time was going reasonably fast but now that we're a month away (ish) (hopefully!) I just want it NOW and that makes time seem wayyy slower. Trying to keep busy with other things to distract myself! Hoping to hear good news for everyone soon!

I keep getting emails from VJ saying my estimate approval date keeps getting moved up slowly but surely. As of now it estimates first week of June, which if they continue at this pace of slow processing will most likely be true. Not sure why it felt like they flew through July and August :(

First October NOA2 as of today - the October cohort is in the game!!

Also, in Igor's List, September has 120 total petitioners while October has only 68, suggesting our month's cohort could have lower overall case load and therefore get processed a bit more quickly (thinking optimistically).

Wow! It was about time haha! Thank you for the good news! 🌞

I am not sure what to think anymore of the “progress” of USCIS processing times - all was well (5-7 months) and processing September 22nd and then.....yesterday .... 5.5 to 7.5 months and processing September 14th - so - it went backwards 🤦🏽‍♂️

To be honest, it was something to expect, as it fluctuated a lot during past months. Things got slower since they started with September. This process involves a lot of patience, but it's good we are in the line.

Sorry, were do you see 120 total petitioners for September and 68 for October? When you says 120 petitioners, is that how many people applied for K1 is Sep?

Yes. See Igor's List under the Immigration Timelines tab of the VisaJourney website. Be sure to filter for K-1, "all petitions" and sort by NOA1. Of course, not all  K-1 applicants are listing their information on this website, so you can only assume that the portion of total K-1 applicants appearing on Igor's list remains constant month to month. If this assumption is true, then we can say that there were only slightly more than half in October as there were in September, suggesting it would take less time to process everyone who filed in October. If anyone knows of more precise information on how many K-1 petitions are filed in each calendar month of 2020, I would be interested to know about that, too.

So any October people get an approval yet?

I went through a little more than half of October on Friday using the case tracker app. Although some folks here mentioned that it's being reported that there are now some October approvals, it didn't look like there was any movement into October last week. Curiously, it seems there were a few October approvals around February 25th.
