Not good news to hear.  I find it distressing to think that people behind me in the timeline of NOA2 may get an earlier interview date because they are part of a lawsuit.    Where did you see the number processed in Thailand last month?  Is this both CM and BKK. How did this compare to a year ago?

Visit this page and select non immigrant visa

The last three months of cases they processed were cancelled interviews in March-May.  But, they should be asking for more by now and they are not.

Also, please check out this YouTube channel from someone who also has a fiancé in Thailand.  He is on Round 2 Milligan v. Pompeo and will likely get an interview scheduled soon.  Lucky them.

What youtube video? What was there NOA2 date?  What is round 2 of the lawsuit?    I wonder if we can figure out how many cases for Thailand were stacked up at NVC from  may- october?   Do we know if the CSC stopped processing I-129's or did they work from home at some reduced rate and for how long.  I just need to remember to breathe.

Wanted to know about police certificates. Montreal P3 Checklist says “PC from each country in which the applicant has resided for 6 months or longer since the age of 16”. I am on Permanent Residency(PR) in Canada since last 3 years. Does this suggest I have to obtain PC even from my home country!? Anyone obtained statement of no criminal record for Indian passport holders ? Can you share how much time it took and the process to obtained from Indian embassy.

Just wondering if they look at  your  Net taxable or Gross Adjusted income at the 125% of poverty level for I-134?  It should not  really be an issue  as I have it covered with assets but just Thought it was taxable but Accountant thinks its gross Adj.

Got case ready. made interview appointment for March 29 Bangkok.  March 1 was first day available.no dates shown in April or May?

I am curious if March 1 was available, did you decide to pick March 29 because you could not select March 1 because of your own schedule?

I wanted to have 2020 tax transcript which wont be ready until about March 1.  I can qualify on assets but some people have said income looks better??  so much misinformation.. I guess this is all a black box we deal with so its anybody's guess what really matters.   YEs I see some people travel to USA the day after getting the visa but in our case she wants to give 1 month notice at work. Long time employer and Thai people still have loyalty to their boss.  I almost selected March 15 near her B-day. but I'm not sure if I need to mail the I-134 or email scanned version? I have convinced her to give notice well before the interview..  And I have insisted she go visit mom for 3-4 weeks.  It was painful to add 4 weeks to this already 11 month process. So we are planning travel to USA mid May just in time to see and take pictures of the 500 bulb tulip garden I planted for her.    The 950 crocus bulbs should be showing up in the next month.

It is good to know that with a NOA2 date in October that you were able to schedule an interview.  I just received my case number last week at NVC so I hope the BKK consulate continues to request more to be sent soon.  I know what you mean about the tax transcript.  I thought I read that it needs to be within a year.  But either way, I will probably not have the interview soon enough so would have already submitted my 2020 taxes by then.  My attorney sent me his original signed I-134 page that I need to DHL out to Thailand soon with other original documents.  My understanding is the original gets brought to the interview.  I believe their letter states they also want a photocopy of everything.

I just decided to check my status and saw that they sent an RFE on the 2nd of this month!!! I'm nervous because I don't know what it could be, but I'm still excited. I've had a change of address and a change of work since sending my application, could that affect anything?

Also, I'm pretty sure I already changed my address to the new one to receive documents, but is there any way to check and make sure?

Hello,

My passport expires at the start of September. Potential interview date can not be earlier than middle of March. Would it create any issue if I get a new passport now than wait for expiration ( have not filled ds-160 yet as per embassy advise).

Hello again.  I have another question.  I saw that you have an interview scheduled with Bangkok. I am wondering if your case actually went to “ready” status and they contacted you by email?  I noticed that many others before you still do not show an interview.  In accordance with their website, even though the system will let you schedule an interview after the fee is paid, they ask that interviews do not get scheduled until instructions are received via email. Otherwise, I know they are canceling interviews only a day or two before.  Just curious.  Thanks.  Trying to anticipate when mine will get scheduled.
