Kind of strange situation. N-400 interview on on the 7th. The apparently didn't realize there was a pending 751 so couldn't do the same day oath. On the 8th the N-400 status change to oath scheduled for the 27th. Then on the 10th 751 updated to approved. Get to that oath ceremony and we will be all done.

When did you file your N400? We filed ours a couple months ago.

or does USCIS not care since she’s still a on a green card and waiting for I-751 to be processed?

USCIS will not care if she has an expired passport, with regards to the i751. They are just looking at bona fide marriage proof.

Over 2 years now and nothing. We are traveling at the end of the year and the extension expires in January. Contacted my congressman to see if he can give the process a nudge.

Did you apply for your citizenship (N400) ?

You should try to apply that way your case speeds up!

Has anyone had their case transferred to the NBC in Lee's Summit, Missouri? Our original I-751 service center was Potomac (YSC) but we were transferred mid September to National Benefit Center MO.

Probably like a lot of other folks in here, our 2 year extension letter is expiring in January. Does anyone know what course of action to take?

Thanks

Request for a stamp if you plan on leaving the country and waiting is all you can really do. It still says normal processing time is up to 31 months on the USCIS website. I'm nearly at 26 months myself.

After filing in October 2020, my wife finally recieved an update on her case.  A new card is being produced!  We were originally a Cr1 case and our service center was msc and got transferred to California.  We were on the "ready to be scheduled for an interview" message since August of last year.  Glad it's almost over!
