My wife went ahead and filed N-400 back in January.  She has already received the 24-month extension on her green card so she is good through the end of this year. Hopefully something will be resolved before then.

Can you tell us your service center? Mine is YSC and have been stuck since March 2021 after biometrics were taken. I applied for N-400 December 2021, in " Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" since December 29, 2021 after biometrics were reused. I have 18months and 24 months extension letters on Green Card.

YSC as well.  Filed for ROC in October 2020.  Biometrics were waived in January 2021. Figure they would not get around to her until at least this August based on the estimated processing times unless something changes. My wife wants citizenship anyway so why wait.

I wanted citizenship too, so reason I applied based on more than 3 years marriage and 3 years GC. I learnt YSC is slow with huge backlogs. I think they should transfer some cases to other centers that are faster. We just have to wait and carry on with our lives...

YSC here. I just gave up and at this point as long as I have extension letters then I'll wait until whenever they decide to get around to our application.

So what does that actually mean? You are filing I-407?

No I mean I gave up stressing about them processing my application. 😅

Why not file N-400?

I'll just wait until we have the new green card in hand.

Will be a long wait I think.

It's ok as long as we have extensions to travel we don't mind the wait.
