Hello everyone!

I am currently preparing my packet for removal of conditions to mail next week and thought I would take this opportunity to start our forum topic.

As a reminder - here is the link to the USCIS page as we all make our way through yet another pile of paperwork!

https://www.uscis.gov/i-751

Good luck - and don't forget the fees increase next week too!

Here is a link to some of the changes on the new documentation and fees effective from October 2nd:

https://www.aila.org/File/Related/20073100da.pdf

Also: the current i-751 form has an expiry date of December 2019 on it.  Whilst this is the correct form to use at the time of this post - it COULD change before you submit your packet so ALWAYS check the USCIS site before mailing your packet to make sure you are sending the correct form.

Good luck!

Chelley, you seemed super organized, do you mind if I ask you some questions? we have some doubts in the November thread!

I’m applying with my minor son

Just passport-style photos for you and your son. For I-751, you are the Petitioner and your husband is just the "spouse" that signs Part 8. Your son is your listed Dependent.

Word around is that everything has to go to Phoenix now.

Phoenix is correct: https://www.uscis.gov/i-751-direct-filing-addresses

Hello everyone! I couldn’t file during October bc we didn’t have the money. So I’m filing right now, but November thread is not very active and one other member and I, we have some questions.

Thank you ind advance for the help!

1. Do we need to mail photo passports if we are in the US? If so, all the applicants? In my case, my husband is the American and I’m applying with my minor son, so the 3 of us need to send photos?

I have minor child and we didn't send any photos and in my knowledge they only ask for it if you are not in the US.

3. I’m in Texas, but do I need to send the package to Phoenix? Word around is that everything has to go to Phoenix now.

Yes. You must send your packet to Phoenix according to new I-751 instructions.

Why does they need a passport photo? I think they are in the US and in the instructions they ask for it if applicants/petitioner is not in the US only

Nope you dont need it.

Here is what i sent for me and for my 9 years old daughter. You can add more evidence if you want. It's pretty organized as I-751 instructions.

Correct. Only those "who reside overseas pursuant to military or government orders, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas" need passport pics.

Thank you! Very kind!
