I sent my package Oct 22nd and they received it Oct 26th and the cheque was cashed Nov 13th. I haven't received anything in the mail but soon I am sure. OMG I was sooo excited when I saw that text at 5:30am when I got up for work yesterday. lol My poor husband who did not have to work til 10am but he was excited too once he woke up just enough to understand. hahaha Oh yes I have LIN.

May I ask when did you sent your package? I sent my package on Oct 23rd, arrived on Oct 27th. I have not seen them cash money from my credit card or received any mail.

Did you get any notification? Some people got the text around midnight

Hey Hey...we got our biometrics applied notice online last night as well.  We are LIN too.

Just to make sure I get the next steps straight:

Basically, we do not have to do in-person biometrics again.  The next notice we should receive is a notice to schedule an appointment for interview, or, we could receive a letter that the interview is waived and the ROC is approved.

If that's the case, is there a time frame we could expect the next notices to arrive from the LIN service center?

Thanks in advance!

I had a look here...

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

and in the timeline section on this sight.  USCIS says 13.5 to 28.5 months for processing at LIN for i-751 and on here I have seen some at about 11 months - so I guess the next we'll hear will be in 9 to 27 months from now ???

I have a question and will really appreciate your opinion. My GC expires on Jan 24. I dispatched my application Oct 23 and was received on Oct 27. What will be considered the filing date?

still waiting to hear from USCIS. Just afraid if they consider the date we mail our file as the filing date vs the day they receive our file.

I think you'll be fine.  It's probably the day they open your application versus the day you mailed it.

It's the day it arrived at the Lockbox. See 8 CFR § 103.2(a)(7)(i): "USCIS will consider a benefit request received and will record the receipt date as of the actual date of receipt at the location designated for filing such benefit request whether electronically or in paper format."

I posted this in November Filers, but it should have been posted here. My wife and I filed for her I751. We finally were able to mail the packet on 10/28. According to USPS, it was delivered on 10/29.

My wife's Green Card expires on 12/18.

We still haven't received our NOA. We're getting really worried at this point. The Postal Money order still hasn't been cashed.
How do we verify it has indeed been received at the Lockbox?!

You are right in the window when you should get a notification. Keep an eye out for them processing the payment if you paid with a check or credit card.

I think you will still be waiting. We mailed ours on 10/16 and it arrived on 10/20 but we just got our NOA yesterday. Full month of waiting for it.

Hello everyone! I couldn’t file during October bc we didn’t have the money. So I’m filing right now, but November thread is not very active and one other member and I, we have some questions.

Thank you ind advance for the help!

1. Do we need to mail photo passports if we are in the US? If so, all the applicants? In my case, my husband is the American and I’m applying with my minor son, so the 3 of us need to send photos?

2. The filling form (I-751) link provided by Chellleyandaaron back in September, the one that started this thread is still the one?

3. I’m in Texas, but do I need to send the package to Phoenix? Word around is that everything has to go to Phoenix now.

thank you everyone!
