Ours arrived on 10/27 to USCIS. I really hope that we get an answer early next week. We are trying to buy a house and they want the receipt number or check cashed to show that USCIS got before they approve our mortgage. We had to extend out the closing date because of it by a week.

I saw next Wednesday is Veteran's Day, USCIS is probably closed that day.

Congrats..welcome to the October filers group...now all u have to do is join our waiting game...it's easy to play along...

STEP1)obsessively check your email, spam folder, text messages, and bank account hoping you missed an earlier indication of forward motion in your case.

STEP 2) breathe deeply and exhale the stress of waiting..

STEP 3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 often.  😂😉

Hahahahaa

Guys, I got a question for you. My extension letter arrived in today's mail; however, nothing for my K-2 daughter who was included in the petition as dependent. Her name is not  mentioned anywhere on the extension letter and the only indicator of another person on a petition is the amount of money received ($765 = 595+85+85).

Should there be a separate extension letter for K2?

I have K2 and yes there should have a different extension letter for her. I would call uscis immediately

Did you receive K2 extension letter the same day as yours or it arrived later?

I've done a brief research and figured dependents receive "verification of inclusion of a dependent in filing of form I-751" that serves the same purpose as the extension letter

Thank you! Will be calling USCIS tomorrow.
Feeling so grateful for this wonderful community. VisaJourney has been a great source of information and encouragement ever since we started our immigration process over 4 years ago. Couldn't have done it without my fellow VJ'ers.

Hurry up and wait is the game we play, seems every single moment is a blessing belayed.

Never let it bring u down, never lose the thought,

that the day will come we reap rewards of struggles that were fought.

When I feel down,  i try to remember to count my blessings not my burdens..

Always, I find, more blessings than burdens.

This has yet to lift my spirits when I needed it.

Hope someone else may find it lifts theirs as well..

Best wishes for All .

Hi all! So sorry if this is a bit outside of the time. I couldn’t find the November filer group. Everyone was so kind when we filed the K-1 that I’m hopeful you will be just as generous. My question is about where to send the 751 application. I’m unsure of if I send it to the AZ location or the Texas one. Any help is appreciated. If it matters, we live in MD. Thank you all!

Thank you! When I went to look on processing times, this location wasn’t even listed in the options. I guess that’s why I’m confused. Months ago when I looked it up, it said TX. Anyways- if that’s what y’all are doing, that’s where I’ll send mine. Thank you!!
