We had the same thought but because we are filing it jointly we put both our names on our cover letter. This is how we wrote our cover letter. Im filing for me and for my daughter and me and my husband signed it on the bottom.

Hope this help

Is it required to sign the cover letter? We didn't sign ours...but it did have our names at the top. Will they reject it if we didnot sign the cover letter/ content sheet?

The fees and forms were updated in the first part of October . Then a court judge put a hold on those changes.. some people sent the new higher fees and the new form..have u actually seen someone here get rejected or had the packett returned for that? I've seen several say they sent the updated fees and forms..but haven't seen anyone say they actually got rejected for that.. just courious....

Hi @WanderingSouls they didn't change the fees or update the form in October, the fee was supposed to increase but the judge stop it around three days before it goes into law, the form edition date 12/02/19 remains the same even before October and up until now.because I printed out my form before October and I realized that it still remains the same up until now.but I wish they keep your package and that you will get approved.

I hope not to get my package back at all..I sent the correct fees and forms with mine. I was inquiring about those few that had submitted the new fees..of $760...as far as I can tell no one has been rejected yet. So I was asking it.. ....we did not however , sign our coverletter...

I'm worried tho about how much we had to submit .

we submitted copies of both Florida ID's showing same home address. Also sent coppies of legal mail and other miscellaneous mail received in our names at our address...

submitted 4 notorized affidavit  from friends and neighbor's.

Submitted savings, checking and credit card information for 2 different banks showing jiont ownership.

.submitted leter of credit from local electric athority showing both names and home address..

Also sent 2 years of joint tax returns..

sent coppies of w2's showing same home address

pay stubs with home address.

2 years worth of plane tickets and travel together with a few pic from each trip.

We pretty much sent everything  listed as evidence on instructions form.

However..some things listed  in the instructions we just can't provide...my spouse cantdrive.. so no drivers license  ,

1.We have No shared insurance because he's no license.

2. We have no carpayment

3. The mortgage is set In Stone for 15 years already, can't be changed without refiance .

4.mortgage means no shared lease

Do u think the items we dont have will be a problem.? Or u think the other stuff we sent is sufficient ?

We filed form I-751 in late September.  We received our I-797 letter in early October.   Now my question is how will USCIS notify us about where our case will be processed?
We checked our case status on the USCIS.gov website.  But it only states that they received our I-751 application.   Can anyone tell me how did you know which office your case is being process in?

USCIS Office Locations have the following 3-digit codes:
MSC, NBC – National Benefits Center; (Lee's Sumit, MO)
EAC,VSC – Vermont Service Center
WAC, CSC – California Service Center
LIN, NSC – Nebraska Service Center;
SRC – Texas Service Center
YSC – Potomac Service Center. (Arlington, VA)

hi everybody,

we are printing form I-751 right now and we are having some troubles:

- if we print it as the actual size, the footer of each page including the bar code will not get printed.

- if we use in the printer the fit to size option, it feels that the page is getting shrinked in order to fit the page which make us think that we are shrinking the bar code at the end and messing it up.

anybody have a suggestion please

thank you

I had that problem on my cheap Wal-Mart printer. Konica Minolta at work printed it just fine. Options are likely manually reduce the print size to 90 percent or something like that, or find a different printer. Could print at the local library or Office Depot.

Just got the text this morning and according to informed delivery we are getting a letter today. Is the extension included in the NOA? We are travelling out of the country in December and need the extension.

yep that's exactly the problem. so my question is:  the library's printer will shrink them automatically that's why I don't have to mess with the settings or will it print it as full regular size? because if it will shrink the page to fit the paper, I will use my home printer, but if for some reason, it will print it the full size by maybe printing on the whole page without white borders, then I will have to go there and do it :(

Hello , I bet your  printer and or computer  is set to print legal size doccuments.. change it to letter size doccuments. Let me know if that solves it. GOOD LUCK!
