Does the immigration officer is taking the yellow packet/envelope upon arrival in the U.S?. cause we are having the initial interview soon but we dont have the previous documents that they were asking us to bring.

The IO will open the envelop upon arrival at your POE. They will sort the paperwork keeping what is there's and handing you what you need, typically the DS-3025, Vaccination Documentation Worksheet which is not a requirement at the interview. Everything else you should have. Bring to the interview any documents that they request from your appointment letter. If nothing is asked, then nothing need be presented at the interview.

I hope they don't hand back the ds3025 as that needs to stay together with the medical report.   We got nothing back.

My wife got the DS-3025, Vaccination Documentation Worksheet from the IO and she needed the flu shot so we saw a CS to complete the I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record. Everything ran smoothly.

If the ds3025 is marked complete and it stays with the medical report then no visit to a CS is required.   Nowadays the copy of the ds3025 is mire commonly provided to the alien by the clinic.

I agree, if you have the DS-3025, Vaccination Documentation Worksheet then CS doesn't need to be involved. We were under the "old" process so it was different and required a CS if anything needed updated with the DS-3025, Vaccination Documentation Worksheet. As you point out a CS is not needed.
