If you see my timeline, you'll notice that my fiancèe and I have been waiting about 5 months for the Embassy in Moscow to accept our approved i-129f. We received the NOA2 in April and are awaiting a welcome letter that we've yet to receive. Any information on when we can move onto the next stage would be great.

Thanks!

From what I’ve heard the embassy in Moscow has been extremely unhelpful and refuses to even take expedited CR1s. Hopefully it changes soon but everyone has gotten the lazy “we are working diligently to resume normal operations” answer for a while now

Covid had stopped all routine visa processing.   Nothing will change until they resume

YMMV

From what I have heard so far, there is now one expedited IR1 case that has received an interview for October, and one that got a message about receiving an interview date soon in the mail. So fingers crossed that this is the start of them doing more cases. Before October, you are right, there was nothing for immigrant visas.

Hello,

My husband and I have been apart for a very long time and our case right now is at NVC, I cant travel to Russia to see him because of Covid restrictions on the visa's. He's a Ukrainian citizen so we're considering transferring our case to Kiev. Do you think it's a good idea to do that since i'll be able to fly there to be with him? Or should we wait for our interview in Moscow? Moscow doesn't seem like it's doing any cr1/iri1 interviews but I've had friends from Ukraine who's husbands had a mission critical spouse interview and immigrated to USA this September. We have no idea what to do and are desperate for help!

Kiev is a much better place if you can get it transferred

YMMV
