Hello All,

I'm filing N-400 based on 3 year marriage. My 90 days window opened yesterday. I'm filing my application online, have had a N-400 draft started about 3 weeks ago, and have been going through it making sure everything is in place and no question is skipped.

Today (Sunday 9/27/2020) I was trying to submit my application. I started working around 3pm. My thinking was to go through each page again  before I submit the application but everytime I click "NEXT" to go to the next page, the website would give me an error message. I'd have to refresh the page again and again.

By 6pm I finally made it to the "Evidence" section, by this time I was not in a good mood. I tried to upload my documents, each of my PDF is ranging from 150 Kb to 2 MB. Everytime I upload the a document it will give me the "Uploaded" status in the box, but as soon as I click "next" the website will give me a notice that "an unexpected error has occurred and they cannot retrieve my evidence draft". I tried it again and again still no success, I took 2 hours break, and started again at around 9pm. When I click on the "Evidence" tab, I can see my files but when I'm on the "Review" tab nothing but the dash ( - ) signs are listed under the Required and Additional Documents. I got so frustrated, I went back to the "Evidence" section and of course, all my files are gone. I thought it was my Chrome browser, but the same thing happened when I use Safari.

When I review the draft, all of my answers were recorded and I did not get any "Red" or "Orange" alert, mine was green check mark stating that everything was correct in my form.

Has anyone has this problem before? Any advise? Thoughts?

My local Pasadena Water and Power's website does not work on Sunday (i.e. you can't process payment on Sunday), would it be the same case as the USCIS' website?

I'm giving up for the night, will try again tomorrow. But what if the problem persists? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I only have Mac at home. I could go to FedEx to use their PC but that involves me touching computers that's been touched with God knows how many people, and I have to be out in a public space. At normal time I'd do that easily, these days just the thought of it makes my stomach churn.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Hello All,

I'm answering my own query here to hopefully help some if you in the future when submitting your form online on an iOS devices.

This morning when accessing the myuscis website on Chrome I no longer receive the error messages like I did the night before, I was able to upload all my files with absolutely no issues. HOWEVER, when I arrive at the review page, this is what I see:

(a god damn dashes everywhere. NOT cool!)

So in my last effort to hopefully able to submit this for in the comfort of my own couch, while unshowered, and unmasked, I downloaded Opera Browser for Mac from their official website (https://www.opera.com/download). Why Opera? Because the 16 year-old tech nerd in me used to only operates on Opera back in early 2000 both on my PC and on my Nokia and Sony smartphone. So lo and behold, following a smooth and successful upload this was what I see upon my review page (I actually closed my eyes wishing for miracle while I scrolled to the bottom of the page):

WERQ!! OPERA!!! YAASSS QWWWEEENNN!!!!

So I then proceeded with the Review, Signature, CC Payment, and as of this morning (9/28/2020 at 8:20am PST) I have completed and submitted my N-400 application and received a receipt number beginning with "IOE"

I hope this help some of you who are limited to iOS devices at home.

Take care, stay safe and healthy.

Best,

J/G

J/G, this information was so helpful.  Not only did it explain how I would need to upload the supporting documents (my OCD had to know to prepare ahead of time) but I also did not panic when I got the dreaded dashes.  I downloaded the Opera browser, added the forms again and my panic went away.  I will forever be grateful for your post.

Glad that it helps! Now join the “Hurry and and Wait” club! Good luck! Stay safe.
