US Tourist visa for UA citizen

I've heard it's really hard to get a tourist visa for a UA citizen to the US. Is that still the case? I'd like to bring my UA gf (39) and her son (13) over for a visit next summer. Is that basically not going to happen or might there be a path to get the visa approved?

Does she have any ties with UA? If she is single, no job, travels with kid then chance is slim.

She won't know for sure until she applies.  But she'll have to wait for the embassy to resume routine B1/B2 visa services.

UA is most likely Ukraine, but it could also be UAE (United Arab Emirates).  My guess is Ukraine as there are lots of women there trying to get to the US via online relationships.  My recommendation to OP is that you go visit her as it's unlikely that she'll get a tourist visa to visit you in the US, because of the tradition of visa fraud in Ukraine.  Good luck!
