Until several years ago we had our private domains and hosted email with GSuite but due to Google's increasing privacy problems and injection of politics into their business model I switched to Zoho. Dropbox free is an okay alternative for storage (some partner with them and give better rates then they do). We have a NAS at home so use Synology Drive. 

 

(It's a habit to encourage people to move from Google)
