Not really an instance of voter fraud, but definitely one of the drawbacks of early voting.

 

Some early voters want to change their vote after Hunter Biden exposés

 

Google searches for “change my vote” have spiked over the last several days, and Americans interested in adjusting their ballot are also searching for more information on Hunter Biden, one week after the Post’s exposés.

More than 58.5 million have already cast their ballots, and searches for “change my vote” started trending over the last few days — linked to searches for “Hunter Biden,” according to Google Trends data.

The biggest interest has come from Arizona, Tennessee and Virginia, all states that — like most of the US — only give residents one shot at the polls.

But “in some states, you can submit your ballot, have a change of heart and, and submit a new ballot,” Matthew Weil, director of the Election Project at the Bipartisan Policy Center, told Newsy.

Amazing.  I did not know ballot harvesting was legal in TX.  Regardless, all these instances of voter fraud, and vote meddling is something to be concerned about even with the Dems/Left saying there is no evidence.

What a time we live in, where Project Veritas, Breitbart, and right wing websites are what's left of journalism while people in the legacy and lefty media (barring notable sources) are busy trying to suppress information and destroy other journalists. Just amazing.

I had this exact conversation with a friend of mine. 

 

The death of journalism is one of the scariest things happening right now.  Something is wrong when the only way to find out about certain issues (like Hunter Biden, voter fraud, etc.) is through sources that you know have a bias.  The mainstream news sources simply refuse to cover these stories, they won't even investigate, they act like the story doesn't exist.  They decide what the public is allowed to know.  If it wasn't for Andy Ngo, I don't think anybody would know about the riots that are still taking place. 

 

Time to go reread 1984.

Bad news day.. for now the court won't hear either NC or PA cases, as Barrett did not participate in either decisions, but there's still a decent likelihood they'll hear something before the election, and possibly the following day.

CLEVELAND ­— Two out-of-state residents have been indicted for devising a robocall scam meant to intimidate voters in minority neighborhoods and to keep them from voting by mail, local and state officials announced on Tuesday.

Virginia resident John Burkman, 54, and California resident Jacob Wahl, 22, were indicted in the voter suppression scam by a grand jury Tuesday and now face up to more than 18 years in prison, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley said.

Officials determined that in August, Burkman and Wahl used a voice broadcasting service provider to place more than 67,000 calls across multiple states across the Midwest. More than 8,100 of those calls were sent to telephone numbers located in Cleveland and East Cleveland and more than 3,400 of those calls were answered either by an actual person or voicemail, prosecutors said.

The pre-recorded message falsely warned people that if they voted by mail, that their information could be used by law enforcement, collection agencies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for pursuing old warrants, collecting outstanding debts and tracking people for mandatory vaccines, prosecutors said.

After receiving multiple complaints, state officials launched an investigation that led to the indictments and both men were charged with eight counts of telecommunications fraud and seven counts of bribery. If convicted, Burkman and Wahl face up to 18 ½ years in prison.

But this is far from the first time Wohl has been involved in smear campaigns aimed at figures he believes stand in the way of Trump’s success. Earlier this year, Wohl appeared at CPAC alongside Burkman to provide evidence of a supposed scandal involving Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). They, along with a host of other people on the internet, claim that Omar’s ex-husband Ahmed Elmi is actually her brother and that she married him to help him get US citizenship.

This conspiracy theory is largely nonsensical. First and foremost, there is no evidence Elmi is Omar’s brother. Elmi is a British citizen whom Omar married in 2009 before separating from him in 2011. There is no evidence that Elmi and Omar are related in any way.

Meanwhile, it is perfectly legal for a US citizen to petition US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to bring a brother or sister to the United States, making it entirely unnecessary to marry one’s own sibling to do so.

Importantly, Elmi never received US citizenship (he moved back to England following their separation), meaning that if, under some bizarre circumstance this conspiracy theory were true, the entire reason for the marriage — getting Elmi US citizenship — never actually materialized.

The Trump adminstration sabotages the mail system, Republicans sue to suppress legitimate votes. Voters Don't apply postmarks. 

 

Lesson: get your ballot to a drop box, you cannot trust a mailed in vote to count at this late date.

Meanwhile MAGA partisans are making Robo calls to fraudulently intimidate people of color from voting, and that gets ignored.

There's no guarantee anyone's vote counts who doesn't vote in a timely fashion, it's the voter's responsibility. The government ain't your mama. There are deadlines for votes because there's a deadline for the election (including legal challenges) before the House decides for the people. All hot air.

 

And as for that little theory about people you disagree with "ignoring" it.. I've torn these arguments to shreds so many times I can't count, but what's another notch on the belt?
