Hey guys! So I finally had an update in my case from the consulate in Juarez on September 22nd. They told me they received my waiver which was approved June 16th and asked me to update my DS260. Can any of you guys explain to me how that is done please. I tried from the CEAC website but it doesn't allow me to make any changes to it.

Call NVC to have them open it up.

I did forget to mention that I called the consulate and they had me fill out a public inquiry on the 23rd but I just received the generic email from the consulate.

The only way to edit a DS260 is by having them reopen it for you or taking the updated paperwork with you to your interview. You can’t just reopen it without doing that because once you fill it out it gets locked. If you’ve sent an inquiry you should receive an email soon

Yeah, I got the generic email response. Hopefully they start sending instructions soon. I’ve heard of some cases like mine in which they got updates too.

USCIS, NVC; they all send generic email responses to acknowledge that they have received your inquiry. You should receive an instruction email soon, if you don’t, worse case scenario you do another inquiry and mention the lack of response, we had to do that with USCIS before; good luck

Thanks! I just received an email from the NVC stating that they’ve sent my case to the consulate and I should contact them. I think I’ll send another inquiry to the consulate
