K1 application is gonna expired within 1 year but Consulate in China still NOT open for interview yet. How can I apply for interview?

My K1 application is gonna expired within 1 year but Consulate still NOT open for interview yet. How can I apply?

 

I have got the Notice for K1 visa applicants on 1/1/2020 but the Consulate in China closed till now due to the pandemic. On my letter it said if failure to take the requested action within one year will result in your application being terminated. I'm worried if the Consulate don't open back before end of this year, my application will be terminated. How can I prevent it terminate?

I'm in USA now and we're thinking about maybe we can get married here instead of waiting for K1 visa interview. It's too long for waiting lol
