NBI & CENOMAR

Hi guys!

I know NBI and Cenomar has 1 yr validity but the Embassy take it only as 6mos. My Medical will expire Jan 2021 and my NBI and Cenomar 6mos validity will be in Oct.

Do you think i need to get another NBI and Cenomar a month before my Medical Exam expire? I was thinking if Embassy accept our request for expiring medical there would be no issues or delays during an interview.

It is not a hard and fast rule on the 6 mos. for the NBI and CENOMAR,  it is just a common 221g issue reported back here.   Embassy checklist states 1 year.

 

I know of cases where they were older and the embassy had no issue.

From experience I can tell you that the USEM is all over the place when it comes to an NBI.  Make sure you don't get caught in the NBI "AKA" trap.  Our NBI was less than a two months old and we got a 221 g for an updated one and have been stuck in administrative processing for over 7 months now.  On the plus side we had no problem getting a new NBI issued.

I've read few post here about getting a 221g because of AKA im glad i don't have that in my NBI. Thanks.

Since the embassy is all over the place if you can get an updated NBI without much hassle I might consider it. If it’s too much hassle and since even the Embassy papers say it’s good for one year, then I might not worry about it. Personally I’ve always liked to have the latest documents I can get my hands on for anything dealing with governments to help avoid them coming up with some ridiculous excuse. But what crimes are you going to commit since the last NBI given the excessive lockdowns? Your already living in a prison compared to most other countries.

This was kinda funny but true. Yes i agree and I always want every documents new to avoid delays and excuse. 

 

My fiancé tells me over and over again that Iam in prison like already😅.
